Do you agree with taxpayer subsidies to let people buy insurance from private companies?

Or do you think that is normal free enterprise?

No.I’m against it for many reasons.
One because it is very stupid..
Two no one has really heard
    of those companies and it
could just be a fraud. But that’s just me.

Not in the least. What you are asking, goes right back to what we Republicans/Conservatives are talking about. For the government to give subsidies, would mean that the government would have to raise taxes in order to give the subsidies, ie: Force the rich to pay even more in taxes.

It is not the best solution for the people who have low incomes and no insurance at work, but it is an improvement on the system we have now where they are uninsured and can’t pay their medical bills.

    Absolutely.
The elimination of programs such as Medicaid and Medicare and the State ran programs and then providing subsidies (based on income for those in need) enabling them to purchase insurance would result in a tremendous savings for taxpayers.
It is a fact that there are those who cannot afford the total cost of health insurance. The provision of vouchers to these people would result in private insurance companies competing for their business, lowering the overall costs of policies for all. Emergency rooms would not be treating uninsured, lowering their costs.
An added benefit for the current recipients of medicaid and medicare would be an elimination of a two tier system which stigmatizes those recipients and sometimes results in inferior care.
Although, I do not have numbers to show savings, I believe that private companies can provide better care for less than the more than $640 billion spent last year by the federal government alone on these programs.( not to mention the unfunded obligation to those who have paid in but have yetyet to use Medicare of $34 trillion)

No why should I have to pay taxes to pay for someone else to have insurance. I buy my health insurance and so can everyone else.
