    I think the ore ring doubles the CHANCES of digging up an ore, not increase the value of ores

    it DOES increase the value of ores.a golden ore gives 50 ore´s.he got 100 from it.if you want prove,dance in the dance hall after getting the boomerang there,you will get 50 ore chunks while holding up a golden ore.
