Remember when they started installing all of the robots and laid off a lot of real people? Remember when they began closing U.S. factories and building new ones in countries with cheap labor and no unions to protect workers? They were looking for higher profit but they forgot that middle class Americans were their customers, as well as employees. Along with the corrupt banking and insurance agencies, corporate giants are destroying middle-class Americans who are more concerned with trying to save their home ownership than with buying a new car. GREED is ruining this wonderful country!…..Sorry for the rant, but the market news is truly frightening today, and I am mad as hell!
So who is surprised that unemployed people can’t buy GM products?

Why would you want to buy a GM product? Remember GM destroyed the EV1.

It’s rather short sighted and even ironic that the manufactures of products are destroying their largest customer base.
It’s pretty easy to figure out that an unemployed worker isn’t a very strong consumer – yet they continue to close factories and plants and outsource their products overseas or simply relocate their plant.
Go figure.
