strong opinion! ex cleaned out my acct of 25k without my knowledge, my credit cards-he was authorized user, i walked away with debt incurred by other, loans to repay, etc. i was not financially careful. i pay $1400. in rent now. why not purchase?

can i be forced to sell the FMH after divorce when its our children’s home and i childmind providing income?

My ex rents his own place and both of us struggle financially. My ex wants his share in the house because i now live with someone else. If i sell the house my income will go as you cannot rent a house and child mind! I cant get a loan to pay him off and i cant afford to remortgage. What can i do???
If you quit claimed property during a divorce per the “deal” can I sue if they didn’t remortgage?

When my husband was going through a divorce he quit claimed his house to his ex’s parents. The deal was they gave him $3,000 and would remortgage the house and obviously make the payments. He never received the $3,000. We found out that the house foreclosed while different family members were living there because of no payment. Now he has a foreclosure on his credit. Can we sue them or do anything to change this?
The deal was signed in writing. Unfortunately, he was kicked out of the house and wasn’t given most of his stuff, so he doesn’t have it. The divorce agreement said to sell the house and divide it all by half, but obviously that never happened.

I have a friend who’s wanting a divorce from her husband, they have 3 children together.
They are both joint on the mortgage.
Because of the housing market, the mortgage is for £190,000 and the value of the house is now £150,000.
She asked her husband to leave and he is staying with friends.
They have 3 children together.
He has asked her to buy her out, and he wants £50,000, she simply doesn’t have this money and couldn’t remortgage the house or get a loan for it.
He’s also said for him to move back in, but because of abuse she wont let him.
He’s also said sell the house, but with negative equity, it’s not an option.
My friend can manage to pay the mortgage payments on her own, and has paid this for 12 months without his help.
Financially she is just about coping without his help, he wont give it anyway.
What will happen to the house if this goes to the divorce courts ?
